Dr. Erick Crespo

Coming all the way from sunny Miami, FL, Dr. Crespo is thrilled to be at our practice. As an expert in anxiety and pain management, he believes in engendering a better quality of life for every patient that walks through our doors. Every patient is unique; each case presents a different challenge. Dr. Crespo received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from NSU College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors, including a national scholarship from the Hispanic Dental Association for his contributions to the communities of South Florida. As a fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Crespo has been able to cater to a diverse patient pool throughout his career. Following dental school, he completed a rigorous postgraduate residency program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn NY; one of the busiest Level I trauma centers in the country. His training was heavily focused on oral surgery and prosthodontics, with a major emphasis on esthetic and implant dentistry.

He has been recognized for his contributions to the field of Implantology through a prestigious Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has received several recognitions throughout his career including being named one of America’s Best Dentists. Above all else, Dr. Crespo believes compassion is one of the most salient attributes a dentist can have. It is the driving force that brought him to the most rural villages of Jamaica to provide dental care for the underprivileged during a recent mission trip. When he is not practicing, Dr. Crespo enjoys staying fit and is an avid traveler. He looks forward to welcoming you to our practice!


Dr. Jeremiah Juson

Dr. Jeremiah Juson transforms confident smiles in New York City. Raised in a family of dentists, he
progressed to embrace orthodontics as his true passion, which involves much more than just straightening teeth. He emphasizes that exemplary orthodontics entails developing a bond with each patient and ensuring that their self-confidence will shine. Today, he focuses his practice on both Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD). Striving to stay in sync with the characters behind the smiles, Dr. Juson is fully dedicated to bringing out the best version of his patients. He has come a long way since earning his DMD degree back in 2004. After dental school, he spent eight years in university-based post-graduate trainings, residencies, and fellowships to establish a solid foundation in the field. He cared for patients of all ages in Oral Surgery and Hospital Dentistry at the University of the Philippines, a prestigious training program that presented Dr. Juson with medically compromised patients in a trauma hospital environment.

He went on to receive a two-year fellowship in Orofacial Pain & TMJD, as well as a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). Finally, he completed a residency in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center. This working environment facilitated a multidisciplinary approach, allowing Dr. Juson to demonstrate a wide array of knowledge in addition to intense expertise in TMJD and Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. Professionals who hold a double specialty like this are seldom found in the city. Informed by a vast background in orthodontics, he applies a well-rounded approach to treat and help reveal his patients' true integrity as people. When Dr. Juson is not with a patient, he enjoys swimming and photography. He and his wife do as much as they can to learn about all the different cultures the world has in store.


Dr. Daisy Montoyo

Dr. Daisy Montoyo was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. From a very young age, Dr.
Montoyo always dreamt about becoming a Pediatric Dentist and being an advocate for the oral health in
children. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Puerto
Rico. She then obtained her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico’s School of Dental Medicine. In addition, Dr. Montoyo moved to New York to complete a specialty program and earned a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn. Here she had a chance to connect with diverse cultures and languages during her specialty training, including patients who speak her first language, Spanish. These experiences only nurtured Dr. Montoyo’s passion for the profession even more. She is committed in helping every child that comes into her office to have a pleasurable dental experience; breaching any language or behavior barriers that may exist. Around the office she is known for her laughter and happy spirit.

Professional Affiliations:
Dr. Montoyo is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA) and Second District Dental Society
(SDDS). She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Outside the Office:
In her free time Dr. Montoyo enjoys exploring New York, traveling, singing, going back home to visit her
parents in Puerto Rico and attending Spirit of Brotherhood Church in Williamsburg, where she is an active
member.


Dr. Samantha Shapiro

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Samantha Shapiro looks after the people of Brooklyn, NY. She is available for exams and consultations at Montrose Dental. She believes in delivering high-quality dental care as well as professional patient service.

Dr. Shapiro received her dental degree from A.T. Still University, Mesa. She further completed a residency in general practice at Kings County Hospital. As a dental professional, she tries to stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide suitable treatment options to her patients.

Dr. Shapiro believes that oral health is a window to overall health and hence, it is important to maintain oral hygiene. She helps patients understand their condition and choose an appropriate treatment plan.
